One question for the whole company, the answers by evening

An eNPS, feedback on the offsite, a pulse check on a reorganisation: you send it in the morning, everyone answers in a few minutes, and you read the results by team as soon as it closes.

Popwork: a survey’s answers come in, and the average appears

One survey a year, and then what?

The annual survey tells you how the company was doing months ago. Rarely what to do, or where.

01

Results arrive too late

By the time the survey is launched, the reminders sent and the report received, things have already changed.

02

Few answers, and cautious ones

People answer one more questionnaire without seeing what it changes. Many don’t answer, and the rest pick the middle.

03

An average nobody owns

A company score doesn’t tell you which team is doing less well, or whose job it is to act.

From question to answers, within the day

  1. 1The HR team

Start from what you want to know

Pick a theme (eNPS, onboarding new joiners, after a reorganisation…) or describe what you need: Popwork proposes a title and 3 to 5 questions, informed by what comes up in check-ins. You adjust them, and choose who receives the survey and who reads the answers.

  2. 2The team member

    Answer with confidence

The survey arrives in their timeline, with a notification by e-mail, Slack, Teams or on their phone. Before the first question, they know who will read their answer: if it is anonymous, the HR team only sees overall results, and their manager sees nothing.

  3. 3The HR team

    See which team is slipping

Participation is tracked live, and only the people who haven’t answered get a reminder. When the survey closes, each question can be read by team, sorted from lowest to highest, with the gap between the two.

Everyone knows who reads what

The team member

Before answering, they see whether the survey is anonymous and who will read their answer. They can sign an answer when the survey allows it.

Their manager

Reads their team’s answers when the survey is meant for them. If the company allows it, they send their own quick surveys to their team, never anonymous.

The HR team

Targets the whole company, some teams or a division, follows participation and reads the overall results, by team.

Anonymous when it needs to be, and truly so

In an anonymous survey, no answer is tied to a name. Results are shown when the survey closes and from 3 answers, a group of fewer than 3 people is never shown, and written answers are never broken down by team.

Frequently asked questions

Are surveys anonymous?

You decide: anonymous, named, or each person’s choice (anonymous by default, with everyone free to sign their answer). A survey read by managers is never anonymous, and everyone is told so before answering.

Can we measure an eNPS?

Yes. The “recommendation” question is scored from 0 to 10: Popwork calculates the score, with the share of promoters, passives and detractors, overall and by team.

What types of questions?

Up to 5 questions per survey: a scale from 1 to 5, a score from 0 to 10, a choice among 2 to 10 options, or free text. Each question can be optional.

Who can send a survey?

The HR team, to the whole company, to some teams, or by department, division or tenure. If the company turns it on, a manager can also send one to their own teams, including from the mobile app.

How long does it stay open?

From one hour to 90 days: you set the closing date, and you can close it early. Up to 3 reminders go only to the people who haven’t answered yet.

Can results be broken down by department or division?

Yes, for a named survey read by the HR team: by team, department, division, job title or tenure. An anonymous survey can be broken down by team only, so that nobody can work out who answered by crossing two breakdowns.
